Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will start the occasion by releasing a special song sung by artist Kailash Kher and an audio-visual film commemorating the monumental achievement of administering 100 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Mandaviya will debut the film and song at the Red Fort in the national capital, according to an official press release. Earlier on Wednesday, the Union Health Minister tweeted that 99 crore vaccination doses had been administered across the country as of Wednesday.
As he stated, “We have reached 99 crores. India, go for it… we’re swiftly approaching our milestone of 100 million Covid-19 immunizations.” Mandaviya also urged individuals who have not been vaccinated to do so and be a part of history.
According to government sources, the largest khadi tricolor in the country, weighing around 1,400 kg, will be exhibited at the Red Fort on Thursday as part of the celebrations.
